Trident Soccer staged a successful Easter holiday soccer camp at Wooler First School for boys and girls from north Northumberland.

The course included technical skills, small-sided games, set-plays, drills and team shape in a fun-packed week of activities.

The event also included a coaching session by UEFA Pro coach Willie Donachie.

The former Manchester City ace and Newcastle United coach also presented the player certificates and awards.

“I would like to thank Willie, all the parents and children for their support,” said Trident Soccer FA coach Ryan Jobson. “The children had a great time and put in a lot of effort to learn new skills and improve their techniques.”

The coaching team and Donachie also attended the commemorative unveiling of a plaque in memory of former resident, the late Tom Young in Eglingham.

His London-based family, who attended the ceremony, generously donated funds to erect a fence around the tennis court and Trident Soccer provided football coaching activities at the event.
