Trident Soccer hosted another successful half-term football camp at Hipsburn First School as youngsters demonstrated their technical skills.

And Harry Armstrong was named as player-of-the-course.

FA coach Ryan Jobson was delighted with how the event went. He said: “Everyone had a fantastic, fun-packed week and the children showed tremendous ability.

“Coaching included five-a-side games, set-plays, drills, team shape and improving technical skills.”

All the children received a signed photograph of professional footballer Nathan Buddle from Hartlepool United.

Buddle and fellow Pools player Luke James, both from Amble, have been part of the Trident Soccer programme.

Trident Soccer is hosting an Easter Football Camp from 9.30am to 12.30pm on April 2, 3, 4 and 5 at Hipsburn First School. For more details, call 01665 581 555
