Youngsters from Longhoughton Rangers had an afternoon to cherish, when the FA Cup went on show at their football club on Monday.
The delighted players, as well as coaches and other club representatives, had their picture taken with the famous trophy as it took pride of place at Westfield Park.
The iconic piece of silverware was in north Northumberland as part of a national tour throughout this week, in the run-up to the competition’s first round, which kicks off tomorrow evening.
Alnwick teenager Jonathyn Quinn was one of the guests on the day. The 19-year-old is hoping to play a part in Blyth Spartans’ first-round clash against Altrincham on Sunday.
