A FORMER football team will be turning back the clock on Saturday, when it holds a reunion in a north Northumberland town.
The special get-together is for people who were associated with Amble Vikings, who enjoyed some success in the 1970s.
The team used to play their matches at Amble Welfare before folding at the end of the 1970s/beginning of the 1980s.
Tom Eason, who was a former player and manager, is behind the reunion.
He said: “It will be the first reunion since Amble Vikings folded and it would be good to see everyone again.”
The reunion takes place at Amble Bede Street Social Club from 7.30pm and there will be a buffet and a display of old photographs.
