Liverpool Ladies defender Lucy Bronze hopes the Reds can maintain their FA Women’s Super League title challenge after beating Chelsea 2-0.
The Alnwick star, 22, scored the Merseyside club’s second goal in the vital victory on August 9.
It takes them two points behind both second-placed Chelsea and table-toppers Birmingham City, but the leaders have two games in hand.
Bronze, who is suspended for England’s World Cup Qualifier with Wales tonight, said: “Winning the league is not in our hands and we have to rely on other teams dropping points, but we just have to concentrate on ourselves and win all our remaining matches.
“It will be an interesting last couple of months at both ends of the table.”
