PREMIER DIVISION

Malcolm Morien hit a hat-trick for the third successive week as Blyth Town romped to an 8-1 win at Hebburn Reyrolle.

Mark Andrews, Connor Andrews, Dan Beresford and Ian Lee got the others, with Jordan Bolton netting a consolation.

Wallsend Town had Paul Gordon and Paul McHutcheon on target in their win over Killingworth Station, who replied through Lee Hamilton, while Sam Grieveson and Matty Hayton scored for Walker Central in their win at Rutherford, who had levelled through Will Forsyth.

GEORGE DOBBINS LEAGUE CUP

Second division Wallsend Boys Club sent Seaton Delaval crashing out of the Archers of Blyth George Dobbins League Cup on penalties. Man-of-the-match Michael Starkie netted twice for Wallsend, with Andy Potter and Adam Tierney getting the others.

Liam Vaughan, Michael McMullen, Matthew Bailey and Stephen Howes were on target for Delaval.

First division Longbenton pulled off a shock as they beat Percy Main, with a goal in each half from David Short and Rob Wood.

Matthew Lavender shot Blyth Isabella ahead at Ashington Colliers but the black and whites turned things around with goals from Brent Aisbitt and Ross Gair, while Shankhouse were also trailing to a goal from West Allotment Celtic A’s Ben Jackson, but late strikes from Josh Walsh and Lee Gustard put the Premier Division side through.

Second-half goals from Justin Millican and Jake Walton saw Wallington past High Howdon, while doubles from Tom Phillips and Theo Bondswell helped Red House Farm to a 6-0 success against Wideopen.

The big Carlisle derby was settled by a goal from Northbank’s Stuart Bell to send rivals City crashing out, while Kane White (two), Phil Murray and Ben Dibb-Fuller netted for Stocksfield at Cramlington United.

Damien Stevens netted a treble in Birtley Saint Joseph’s victory over Newbiggin. Chris Morris got the other, with Richie Kennedy and Ross Muter giving the Seasiders hope with a quick-fire double.

Gareth Pugh also hit a hat-trick in Willington Quay Saints’ win at Grainger Park. John Foggett added to the tally and Max Zaborovs bagged a brace for North Shields Athletic as they advanced at the expense of Swalwell. John Wyres, Scott Jasper, Liam Climpson and Chris Chang got the others, with James Bowman striking a double in reply.

Lee Waugh was another double ace for New Fordley in their win over Cullercoats. Zak Tully and Craig Dunn got the others, Jonathon Ranson and Stphen Moat replying.

Jay Dieu Lomana hit two for Newcastle Chemfica at Whitburn, who struck back through Adam Bravey.

DIVISION ONE

Wooler went second in Division One as they hit five at Gosforth Bohs. Mark Forrest, Stephen Hutchinson, Michael Saunders, Luke Strangeways and Kevin Bell all found the target with Darren Campbell (two) and Chris Toye scoring at the other end in an exciting game.

Bedlington Terriers Reserves also hit five at Ponteland. Jon-James Eke, Andy Mogwo, Calum Donohoe (two) and Simon Scobie piled on the misery for Ponteland United, who had Craig Cook grab a consolation.

First-half goals from Hexham’s Gavin Cox, Liam Heenan and Stuart Brown looked to have put them on easy street against Heddon, but the hosts produced an amazing turnaround to claim their first points of the season, with a Kyle Fradgley hat-trick and a last-minute winner from Andrew Davidson.

Andy May, Liam Hendrum and Kevin Hay scored for Redheugh in their win at the Uni.

DIVISION TWO

Chopwell are the new leaders in Division Two as Derek Waters netted twice against Alnwick Town Reserves. John Meadows tapped in the other from close range.

Newcastle Benfield Reserves’ Chris Thompson claimed a hat-trick in a thrilling win over Seaton Burn. Steve Thompson and Andy McBride grabbed the others with Dave Hewitt and Andrew Bennett scoring at the other end.
