Northern Football Alliance results (Saturday, November 24)

Amble United stamped their authority on the Premier Division title race with a 7-1 thumping of visitors Shankhouse this afternoon.

Their nearest rivals, Heaton Stannington, had their match postponed.

In Division One, Wallington notched an impressive 5-2 victory against Willington Quay Saints, while Morpeth Town A lost 0-4 at home to Northbank Carlisle.

Ponteland United made it through to Round Three of the Combination Cup, beating Newcastle Chemfica 4-2.

And in Round Two of the Amateur Cup, Wooler lost 3-0 at Blyth Isabella.
