Pin Point Recruitment Northern Football Alliance

(Saturday, February 11, 2012)

THERE were mixed fortunes for north Northumberland clubs in the Senior Benevolent Bowl as the weather played havoc with fixtures for a second weekend in succession.

Only six games involving Northern Alliance League clubs in league and cup encounters survived the big freeze.

And in two of them, Amble United made it through to Round Three of the Bowl at the expense of Blyth Town, while Alnwick Town crashed out at the hands of Killingworth Sporting.
