After several chances for Amble, Jason Imeson broke the deadlock on 30 minutes with a great solo run before striking the ball left-footed into the back of the net.

Starting in the second half, Jake Aldworth pulled off a good save, then minutes later, pulled off a fantastic save from a flick on at the near-post.

Imeson then had Amble’s first effort of the second half, before Aldworth was on call again to stop the Hawks.

Good play again from Imeson and Josh Briggs, which played in Callum Fenwick was saved by the keeper, going out for a corner. Fenwick’s corner was met by Jordan King but it was saved.

Debutants Tristan Oliver and Shayne Wright came on and made some good runs down the right wing, with one seeing Oliver cut in with a low shot at the near-post that was saved.

Aldworth saved well again from a Hawks’ free-kick, before Amble went on the attack. Jordan King crossed the ball to another debutant, James Byrne, who scored Amble’s third goal at the back-post.

Tristan Oliver had another chance along with James Oliver’s glancing header, which were both well saved.

A good performance from the lads, with all four debutants doing well, saw them collect their first three points of the season.
