Lucy Bronze was one of the scorers as England thrashed Montenegro last week to finish their World Cup qualifying campaign unbeaten.

England had already qualified for next year’s finals in Canada, but the side’s professional performance saw them take their goal aggregate to 52-1 in 10 group matches.

The Three Lions were already three-up when Alnwick’s Lucy Bronze tapped home Alex Greenwood’s deep, right-sided cross at the back post to give her side a thoroughly deserved half-time lead.

The team can now look forward to the World Cup draw in Ottawa on December 6, but before then is a tantalising friendly against two-time world champions Germany at Wembley on Sunday, November 23.
