In the quarter-final, Division Two leaders North End Trap knocked out Division One side The Wharton Arms with a 4-2 victory. Trap’s goals were scored by Kevin Bell (two) Ryan Chisholm and Marc Nixon. Wharton’s replies were scored by Joe Moscrop and Josie Bolam.
HMP Northumberland reached the Reveley Cup Final as they overcame The Elephant 2-1 on the day and 6-2 on aggregate, thanks to goals from Dale Huggins and Stewart Shepherd.
The Elephant response was scored by Aaron Wright.
The competition’s other semi-final between Morpeth Shambles and East Chevington was postponed and is finely poised with East Chevington holding a 2-1 advantage from the first leg.
In the division’s only game, Bedlington Barrington Arms recorded a resounding 11-0 win over Morpeth Riverside thanks to four goals from Dylan Williamson, braces from Calum Donohoe and Chris Dobey and single strikes from Daniel Dargue, Chris Moffitt and David Scott.
NFA Sunday Cup
Ashington RAOB progressed to the semi-finals after overcoming fellow Morpeth Sunday League team Amble Tavern. The Buffs picked up the win thanks to a 30-yard free-kick from James Harmison and efforts from Anthony Watson and Craig Robinson.
