Amble United take another league scalp

AMBLE United march on at the top of the Northern Alliance Division One after another win this afternoon.

They beat Newcastle Chemfica Industrial away 1-2, recording their ninth victory in 10 matches.

United stay four points ahead of Wallsend Town, whose high-scoring win at Newcastle University kept them in the hunt.
