Pin Point Recruitment League, U16 Division Two

FC Amble Juniors welcomed Prudhoe for what was going to be a very tough game.

Amble were not at their best but kept going to the final whistle to earn a good point. Amble found themselves a goal down in the opening 10 minutes, with their striker pinching the ball on the by-line and cutting it back for a simple tap-in (0-1).

James Oliver had a free-kick from the edge of the box saved by the Prudhoe keeper. Callum Fenwick enjoyed a good run down the right, cut in on his left, with a shot going over the bar.

Fenwick was involved again down the right, crossing for Ali Batey to head over. A fantastic double save from Jake Aldworth early in the second half kept Amble in the game.

Amble kept battling to the end with Tristan Oliver inside the Prudhoe penalty area, pulled down by his shirt. Ali Batey stepped up to secure a point for the home team to maintain their unbeaten start.
