A special event which gave visitors a behind-the-scenes look at a world-famous fishing firm has been hailed a success.
Hardy & Greys, in Alnwick, held its most recent Experience Day earlier this month.
The exclusive guided factory tours proved popular and visitors were able to see the latest revision of the Hardy Bouglé in production.
There was also the chance to preview and try out the company’s products for 2014, including Hardy Jet Rods. Reel expert, John Shiel, carried out a free mini service on vintage and modern reels and Hardy & Greys staff, including members of the new ProTeam, offered free advice and tuition.
Sales and marketing director, Ken Brewster, said: “The day was a great opportunity for us to meet some of our customers, and we hope everyone enjoyed the activities on offer. We plan to hold another Experience Day in the spring.”
