Castle and Hall keep it tight

Northumberland Junior Golf League

WEEK seven saw Alnwick Castle and Linden Hall close the gap on the top two teams, with Alnwick Castle just nudging out Linden Hall at home, while Bamburgh took full points against Goswick and Rothbury had a free week.

The title chase looks more interesting and it is difficult to predict who is going to be on top at the end of the season.

There are bound to be further twists and turns as the weeks go by.

In the other matches, Warkworth shared the points at home with Alnmouth (Foxton) and Magdalene Fields shared the points with Seahouses. Percy Wood had a free week.

The knockout cup semi-finals are to be played soon with Rothbury at home to Seahouses and Goswick at home to Linden Hall and the final will be played on Friday, July 15, at Alnmouth (Foxton). Results:
