Alnwick Harriers were in action today in the 2014 Virgin Money London Marathon.
They joined nearly 37,000 runners taking part in the annual race in a sun-bathed capital.
First of the Harriers over the finish line was Graham Syers in a time of 3.02.49.
Next up was Harriers secretary Jim Lillico in 3.29.04.
He was followed by Cris Atwell in 3.46.33, first female Harrier home Mel Steer in 3.47.46 and Charlie Gillin in 3.51.34.
The marathon was won by Kenyan Wilson Kipsang in a new course record time of 2.04.29.
The women’s race winner was fellow Kenyan Edna Kiplagat in 2.20.21.
