Team Dinga hosted AWMC Bar and, after sharing the points in the singles, The Club took the first of the pairs games, but Brett Slater’s 100 checkout helped Team Dinga take the second.

The team-game decider went to Team Dinga, making the final score Team Dinga 4 AWMC Bar 3.

Shilbottle Club A versus AWMC A was another close encounter. The score stood 2-2 in the singles and 3-3 after the pairs, leaving a team-game decider. The Shilbottle lads prevailed to win the match 4-3.

The Gate Blue Stars kept up their good run of form against The John Bull. Blue Stars took all four singles games, but The Bull hit back, taking both pairs and team games to leave the final score Blue Star 4 John Bull 3.

The Oddies B continued their winning way against AWMC B. Sharing the points in the singles, The Oddies went on to win the pairs and the teams, the score ending AWMC B 2 The Oddies B 5.

B Division

The Market Tavern visited The Penny Black, who got off to a good start, taking the first two singles. Peter Mark pulled one back for The Market, but The Pennies went on to take the last singles game and both pairs. The Market won the team game, making the final score The Penny Black 5 The Market Tavern 2.

AWMC C played host to The Oddfellows A. J McManus took the first game for The Oddies, which proved to be their only point as the veterans pulled out all the stops to win all the remaining games.

The final score was AWMC C 6 The Oddfellows A 1.

AWMC A climbed the hill to Alnwick Castle Golf Club and got off to a great start, taking the first three singles.

Ian Ferguson won the last singles game for The Golfers.

Sharing the points in the pairs, The Club went on to win the team game and the match, Alnwick Castle Golf Club 2 AWMC A 5.

It was an all-Shilbottle affair as Shilbottle Club B visited The Farriers. The Club took the first singles and The Farriers took the next three. However, The Club went on to win both the pairs leaving the team game as decider.

The Farriers took the honours ,making the final score Farriers 4 Shilbottle Club B 3.
