North Northumberland Bowls League Another season starts, same old weather. But despite the conditions, all matches were completed. Rothbury got off to a flier winning at home against Seahouses with a score of 73 shots to 35 and taking all eight points.

Amble at home to Lesbury were not far behind with 66 shots to 49 but only managed to take six points to two.

Wooler at home to Alnwick was a close-fought game with Alnwick scraping home with 55 shots to 50 and winning five points to three.
