ROTHBURY Bowling Club ended the season on Sunday, September 21, in fine weather when the President's Day Pairs competition was contested by 16 pairs.
The competition was won by Bill Butters and Pat Scragg.

The club has enjoyed a successful season finishing third in the North Northumberland League and missing out on promotion in the Clegg League by one point.

A number of friendly matches have been played, although the poor weather has meant several had to be called off.

During the season, club competitions have been held and the trophy winners are as follows:

Men's Champion: R Calam.

Ladies Champion: E Websell;

Logan Cup: D Bolton;

Marshall Cup: D Bolton;

Harry Scott Handicap: D Bolton;

Wanless Rose Bowl: TM Proudlock;

Club Pairs: D Bolton and B Turnbull;

W Rutledge Trophy: D Bolton, T Malia, J Cairns and A Oliver;

Jessie Heron Pairs: B Butters and D Platt;
