Bamburgh Castle...4 Berwick Utd Reserves...3
IN a closely-fought match, Bamburgh went ahead after 15 minutes through Chris Hay only for Berwick to hit back twice to edge ahead.

Ryan Thompson equalised after 35 minutes to see the
teams level at half-time.

Chris Hay netted his second at the beginning of the second half to put the home team ahead and Berwick missed a great chance to level but they missed from the penalty spot.

Berwick did draw level mid-way through the half but Ryan Thompson netted his second after 80 minutes and Bamburgh clung on during the final minutes to progress to their first final since re-entering the league.

DIVISION ONE

Rothbury...7 Berwick Harrow..3
NEIL Johnson gave Rothbury a third minute lead but two minutes later Terry James equalised from the penalty spot.

Jamie Punton put Harrow ahead after 11 minutes when Michael Old grabbing a equaliser after 13 minutes.

On 31 minutes Andrew Hall put Rothbury in front but Scott Pithe equalised on 34 minutes to see the team level at half time.

A second half hat-trick from David Oliver after 55, 56 and 66 minutes plus a 59th minute goal by Adam Hall made sure of the win for Rothbury.

ALNMOUTH went down to a heavy defeat against league leaders Stobswood.

Michael Hogg led the scoring with a hat-trick with further goals from Kerry Shotton, Wayne Gair, Paul Nesbit, Michael Freathy, Brad Wake and Josh Hay.

Bedlington Terrier Reserves...10 Rothbury Reserves...0
BEDLINGTON continued to chase for Second Division honours with this convincing win over Rothbury Reserves.

They were six up at half-time and ran in four more before the final whistle.

Steven Shadforth netted a hat-trick, Joe Betts, Michael Haley and Mark McIntyre all scored twice with Neil Harding also on target.
