SHILBOTTLE finally recorded their first win of the season at the fourth time of asking with this comfortable victory at Windmill Field, Dunston.
The Colliers were quickly into their stride and almost took the lead when Jamie Black had a good effor
t tipped over the bar and Adam Gattens put another high and wide.
They eventually broke the deadlock after 20 minutes when a flicked header by Alan Wallace from a Gattens free-kick found the corner of the net.
The Colliers led by the only goal at the interval but Craster almost drew level shortly after the restart when an effort from David Hogg struck the foot of the post and was cleared.
Shilbottle then had what looked a good goal disallowed for offside before finally doubling their advantage after 75 minutes.
A left-wing corner from Andy Metcalf was headed powerfully into the net by substitute James Dixon to provide the Colliers with a cushion.
The visitors were well on top by this stage and a third goal followed five minutes later when an effort from Alan Wallace struck the bar only for Martin Snaith to force home the rebound.
The victory was complete five minutes from time when Glenn Robson broke clear down the left and his cross into the box struck a Craster defender and shot past his own keeper to settle to the game.
