Girls with the world at their feetHaving been selected by head coach Lois Fidler in an 18-strong squad, the duo played in some capacity in all of England's second round group matches, which saw the squad finish top of Group A and book their place at the Uefa European Women's U17 Championship in Switzerland in May.
The Three Lions beat their Czech hosts and Belgium before sealing qualification with a 0-0 draw against Holland.
And for Lucy S, the Czech trip marked her first ever England cap, making her Three Lions bow with a substitute appearance against the host nation.
Lucy said: "It was really good and I really enjoyed the experience.
"I was just so excited to come on against the Czech Republic and wanted to make a difference."
And make a difference she did, as the striker set up England's fourth goal in their 4-0 rout of their Eastern European hosts. Lucy impressed so much that the Sunderland Centre of Excellence member managed to bag her first full England cap a game later, starting against Belgium.
She said: "I was really nervous and I had to sing the National anthem – I was really scared. But it has been a tremendous honour."
Her Three Lions counterpart Lucy B has now won more than 10 caps after she came on as a sub against Belgium and made two full appearances at right-back against the Czechs and Holland.
Lucy B, who plays for Sunderland Women's first team, said: "It's pretty amazing to have qualified. Everyone was really excited after the last match.
"Qualifying is the biggest highlight of my international career because it means that if we win one game at the Euros then we are through to the World Cup."
England will face France in the semi-final stage of the European finals while Denmark will meet either Germany, Switzerland, Poland or Sweden.
The winners of the tournament will be crowned European champions while the top three finishers will book their ticket to the inaugural Fifa U17 Women's World Cup in New Zealand later in the year.
Looking ahead to the France match, Lucy B, said: "It will be a really close match and we will have to see what happens on the day."
