Alnwick Sea Angling Club

ALTHOUGH the first winter league competition was fished in bright conditions on Sunday, it was a promising start to the new season.
The winner of the match was Mick McMenamin who caught three cod for a weight of 6lb ½oz, he also had the heaviest fish a cod of 2lb 11oz. Other anglers weighing in were Steve McKee, one cod, one coalie, 2lb 13½oz; Antony Abbott, two cod, 2lb 13oz; Pa
