Sunderland have made a record-breaking offer for Everton's Andrew Johnson, according to reports.
Johnson is the latest in a long list of strikers linked with Sunderland, who need cover for injured star Kenwyne Jones.

The Daily Mail reckons Sunderland have already offered £10m for Johnson, and inquired about Spurs striker Darren Bent.

27-year-old Johnson scored 10 goals for Everton last season, and has also caught the eye of Manchester City and Aston Villa.
