Head coach, Bill Cunningham, said: "I have never known a day in Alnwick Dolphins' history when so many swimmers gave so much effort time and time again over a long day, doing four swims (either 50m or 100m) in IM order for the 'reward' of then doing either a 100m or 200m IM and knowing that eight swimmers still had to do a medley relay.
"They were all fantastic and the future of the club is in good hands just so long as we can give them and the even younger ones time and room to develop."
It was a brilliant day – the Dolphins landed 76 PBs between the 14 swimmers attending the gala. Four trophies and five medals were won and they came second in the medley relay.
