Carrying on with their excellent record in representing Northumberland in the National Championships, the ladies of Amble Bowling Club have achieved something unique this year.
They will be competing in all five main categories in the festival at Leamington Spa during August.

Margaret Redford will compete in the two-wood singles and Dorothy Martin in the four-wood singles.

Dorothy will be partnered by Cynthia Bardell in the pairs and they will be joined by Pat Ross in the triples.

Margaret will also compete in the fours with Margaret Calder, Dorothy Dunn and Rae Brown.

Each county has only two entries in each category, so to win through as they have is a wonderful achievement and a great credit to Amble Bowling Club.
