Alnwick Sea Anglers report fishing of the paranormal kind.
CALM settled conditions brought nothing but woe this weekend, with the worst weigh in of the season so far.

And with the distinct lack of fish, the finger has been pointed towards extra-terrestrial activity, after a mysterious light was seen out
at sea.

It has been reported that the light didn't move for hours.

With this in mind, and with the sudden disappearance of the fish, it seems that this 'fishy' tale would definitely warrant the arrival of Mulder and Scully to investigate this mass picean abduction, if the anglers didn't already have a good idea of what these seemingly 'extra terrestrial' vessels could be.

Taking heaviest bag and heaviest fish for the first time in well over a season, and deservedly so for putting up with my conversation, was Kev 'The Chicken Leg' Donnelly with one fish, a cod of 1lb 15½oz.
l Next session is this Sunday, registration 3.30pm at Blackmore's of Alnwick.
