Thursday, January 22 to Saturday, January 24: I, Geordius - The Pantomime - Alnwick Theatre Club. The Britons under the heel of Roman occupation during the building of Hadrians Wall - the Roman gods are trying to bring war and destruction to the western outpost of the Empire, meanwhile Geordius, his Mum and his sister are working the Roman system. See what happens when two worlds collide in this epic original pantomime. 7.30pm. Tickets: £7, £5 conc.

Sunday, January 25: 'A Bit of a Do!' A concert in aid of the Coquetdale Flood Victims, presented by Alex Swailes MBE and supported by Alnwick Lions Club. Special performances from Rod Clements, Alistair Anderson, Lyra Celtica, Voicemale, Wercas Folk, Rothbury Pipe Band, David and Wendy Richardson, Andrew Charlton, and Graham Dick. 7.30pm. Crown Studio Gallery, Rothbury. New paintings of Coquetdale by resident professional artist Lynda Taylor. Also an exciting collection of contemporary gifts, artwork and jewellery all made by regional and national artists and craftsmen. This includes the best ever display of colourful wearable art jewellery by Michael Peckitt, as seen in Marie Claire magazine. Also gemstone jewellery by Jennifer Wheallans including special girls' sizes and gorgeous glass jewellery by Jules Jules; photographs by David Taylor; prints by John Degnan, Alison Read, Ali and Sarah Taylor; and designer-made bags by Kate Munday. The Frame-House & Schoolroom Gallery, Alnmouth, Gallery & Picture Framing, 01665 830600.
