Tonight: The Ingenious Mr Avison: 300th Anniversary Concert – The Avison Ensemble with James Bowman – internatio

Tomorrow: Paul Daniels' Musical Magic Showcase – a fabulous evening of magic, music, special effects and glamorous entertainment. Paul Daniels is one of the most accomplished magicians in the world and certainly one of the most exciting. Saturday, February 14: Disney's High School Musical – workshops with Songtime Theatre Arts – 90-minute fun-filled workshops where you can learn songs and dance from High School Musical. Open to all ages from four to 13. A wonderful opportunity to work with professional actors. Essential to book places on workshops in advance as these workshops will be popular and spaces are limited. 9.15am, 11.15am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm, tickets £6.

Tuesday, February 17: Rome: The Empire Strikes Back – a complete history of Rome with original music and some very ancient jokes. For young Romans aged five to 12 and their families. Performance runs approx one hour. In the Nuffield Theatre. 2pm, tickets £6.

Tuesday, February 17: Hunger (15; 95min) – drama directed by Steve McQueen. A harrowing recreation of the hunger strikes of the early '80s in the Maze Prison just outside Belfast. 7.30pm, tickets £5, £4.50 conc.
