Picture too in your face

Last Thursday, I sat down to lunch and browsed through the Gazette, I turned to Page 23 and was confronted by a photograph of a very large, colourful dollop of dog excrement.

It was such a tasteless image that I could not finish my scrambled egg.

I know what a dog’s defecation looks like, I’ve seen plenty and I’ve even brought them, unknowingly, into my house under my shoe.

I am not poo-pooing the newspaper’s campaign to get to the bottom of this dirty business, in fact, I am right behind it, but does the campaign need to be so in-your-face?

Or should that be in-your-faeces? This forum is lacking decorum!
