Alnwick, as we are all aware, is a massive tourist hot spot and the town employs hundreds of people. However, why is that tourists and workers decide to park in a residential street with limited parking?
There are two large car parking areas and two smaller ones only 500 metres down the road.
As residents of Alnwick, we were offered parking permits for these car parks so we could park free of charge.
So why is it people still persist on parking outside somebody’s house?
On many occasions I’ve had to park away from my home address, sometimes having to carry shopping or my baby because of this.
Would they like it if I was to go and park on their driveway at their address? I highly doubt it.
