The Plan: Find out more about children’s lives in the developing world – free of charge.
Did you know that worldwide, one child in five does not live to see their fifth birthday? Or that 75 millions girls don’t get the chance to go to school?
Or that children themselves are able to take part in improving their own lives and lead their communities out of poverty – with help from an organisation called Plan?
Plan is a global children’s charity. We work with children in the poorest countries to help them build a better future – a future you would want for all children, your family and friends.
For over 70 years, we’ve been taking action and standing up for every child’s right to fulfil their potential by giving a healthy start in life, including access to safe drinking water; securing the education of girls and boys; working with children to take a lead in decisions that affect their lives and enabling families to earn a living and plan for their future.
Sign up now for a free talk from a Plan speaker.
Our speakers are happy to talk about the problems faced by children in developing countries and the work Plan does – together with families and communities – to break the cycle of poverty and build a better future.
Many of our speakers have visited Plan projects in the developing world and can use their own experiences to bring Plan’s work to life.
The talks are entirely free of charge, but we’d of course love you to be inspired to support our work and donations are gratefully received.
To find out more, you can contact our supporter development team by telephone on 0300 777 9777 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org Or visit our website www.plan-uk.org/speakers
