Eyesore of park fly-tipping pile

I write to you in the hope that something can be done to clean up an area on the main Rothbury to Otterburn road, that appears to have become the unofficial Northumberland National Park ‘tip’ in 2013.

We now have a pile of building waste that is some 15feet high at Billsmoor on the B6431 road.

It first appeared when contractors were working in the area some 12 months ago, but now appears to be growing by daily additions.

I dread to think what visitors to the National Park must think when they have to climb over piles of rubbish to take in views of the beautiful Grasslees Valley.

Is it not about time that officials in the county council or National Park sorted out this eyesore?
