The Northumberland countryside is gradually being destroyed by excessive windfarm development.
The Middlemoor and Wandylaw windfarms comprise 28 turbines, making it the largest windfarm in England.
They are over 400 feet high and visible from the Cheviot National Park, Farne Islands, Holy Island and Bamburgh as well as many other places.
Travel along the A1 and look at the site that greets visitors to our beautiful county.
What is worse, there are a further nine turbines planned for Belford and another nine at West Ditchburn which will be right next to the 28 that already exist.
In total, there are plans for 70 turbines in this area!
We have done our bit, please don’t wreck the countryside any further, enough is enough.
