Breaking up is hard to do

IF I remember my history correctly, it was an agreement between the English and Scottish parliaments in 1707 which lead to the current situation.

I just get irritated that Alex Salmond assumes that the current Scottish group can unilaterally decide to go it alone.

It takes two to undo what was done in 1707.

Now I personally have no problem with independence to Scotland but I frankly doubt that it would be good for the Scottish people. They would, for example, take a share of our large debt.

As a consequence I believe the current view taken by David Cameron is very reasonable.
