Woman killed by cow in Northumberland
A woman has died after being injured by a cow in north Northumberland.
Northumbria Police received a report of a female casualty in Belford at 2pm on Monday, April 4. The injured woman subsequently passed away.
The incident has been passed over to the Health and Safety Executive, which has confirmed that it has launched an investigation.
The identity of the woman has not yet been released.
