WATCH: Farm machinery fire in Northumberland

The cause of an agricultural-machinery fire at a Northumberland farm this afternoon is not thought to be suspicious, the Gazette has been told.

An appliance from Alnwick and another from Amble attended the scene in Shilbottle after Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service received the call at 4.28pm.

Hose reels were used to extinguish the flames and firefighters have now left the scene.

A Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said that a fire investigator had not been sent to the scene and the cause of the blaze was not thought to be suspicious.
