Real-ale fans have been supping a wide selection of beers and ciders today at the Alnwick Beer Festival.
The annual event, organised by Alnwick Round Table, started last night and runs until tomorrow in Alnwick Town Hall.
Now in its eight year, it is one of the group’s biggest fund-raisers of the year and has brought in £40,000 for good causes in the local area.
For anyone who hasn’t been yet to sample the range of more than 30 beers, the festival runs until 11pm tonight and from noon until 6pm tomorrow.
Entry is £10 to include a festival glass, programme and £5-worth of beer tokens. Visit the website for more details.
