Walk the Westie way in aid of charity

A local branch of a nationwide charity is calling on lovers and owners of West Highland White Terriers to ‘Walk the Westie way” to help raise much-needed funds for Westie Rescue Charities throughout the country by taking part in the famous ‘Westie walk’ on Sunday on Bamburgh beach.

The walk, now in its fifth year, was started as a casual meeting with two Westie owners, who met on Facebook, and has now developed into the biggest gathering of Westies and their supporters in the UK and year on year participants increase.

Meet at Links Car Park for 11.30am then join in with the hoards of Westie lovers to walk on the glorious beach. The day also includes a host of activities and Westie fun and games.
