Tickets for a special guest appearance from a reality TV star at an Alnwick nightspot have sold like hot cakes, with all the VIP passes snapped up within an hour of going on sale.

Last night, it was announced that The Only Way Is Essex (Towie) heart-throb Dan Osborne will be at I Won’t Tell on Friday, April 11.

The £15 VIP entry, which gives punters the chance to meet him, were snapped up quickly and excitement is building for the event.

But don’t panic. There is one more chance of getting your hands on the final pair of these special passes – and that’s by entering our competition in tomorrow’s paper.

I Won’t Tell’s Mark Jones has told the Gazette that he is delighted with the response.

He said: “Wow, the VIP tickets sold out quickly. I think this will be one of our most hyped events. Dan is popular and the girls tend to swoon over him.”

As well as being a cast member on ITV2 show Towie, Osborne was also a finalist in this year’s celebrity TV diving competition, Splash!

His appearance at I Won’t Tell will help launch the Bondgate Without-based venue’s new event, Honolulu, which will have a beach theme and deals on drinks.

He will be on stage with the DJ and spend time in the VIP section. He is due to be at the venue from around 10pm and it is hoped he will be there all evening.

Normal entry admission tickets, priced £5, are still available. They will be on sale on the door on the night on a first-come, first-served basis from 10pm.

Osborne isn’t the first celebrity guest to appear at I Won’t Tell. Last year, renowned DJs Judge Jules and Jack Eye Jones, as well as urban music star, Tinchy Stryder, performed sets at the venue.

Mark said: “I think Dan’s appearance will give us a more commercial interest than some of the dance acts for example and draw people into Alnwick from outside of the area.”
