Visitors will be able to step back in time to compare vintage caravan chic with state-of-the-art design at a special 70s-themed open weekend at Riverside Leisure Park in Wooler.
The mint-condition ABI Sierra Supreme caravan was the height of sophistication in 1978.
Holiday park operator Verdant Leisure is hosting the 70s revival weekend on Saturday and Sunday for would-be owners to celebrate the best of a bygone era and the launch of ABI’s latest model The Hartfield.
Visitors are invited to come along to enjoy a barbecue and 70s’ entertainment and to see how far caravans, and leisure parks, have come in recent decades.
“We are looking forward to having a lot of fun over the weekend and have competitions and surprises lined up to keep everyone entertained. Wear flares if you dare,’ said Verdant Leisure marketing manager Stacey Gibson.
Visitors can bring along their own vintage snaps to enter a prize draw to win a week’s free caravan accommodation at the park.
