A BUILDING was damaged after vandals daubed graffiti on the side of the wall.
The incident at the Corn Exchange in Alnwick happened between 8am on Monday, April 11, and around 4pm on Thursday, April 14.
Alnwick Neighbourhood Inspector Sue Peart said: “To see graffiti there gives a really poor impression of the town. The community need to have some civic pride. It’s coming up to the tourist season and huge numbers of people in this town rely on tourism and to have tourists greeted with graffiti gives completely the wrong impression.”
