TWO men have been arrested in relation to a spate of break-ins on an Alnwick estate.
Overnight between Thursday, March 8, and Friday, March 9, two garages at Chapel Lands were broken in to.
Detergents and cleaning materials were taken from one of them. Nothing was stolen from the other.
Two more garages were targeted in the estate around the same time, but the offenders were unable to get inside.
Alnwick Neighbourhood Inspector Paul Truscott said that residents should make sure that their garages are locked and secure.
The men, both aged 42, and from the local area, have been bailed pending further inquiries.
