A road in Alnwick town centre is still closed at present due to work on a burst water main.
Teams are at work on Bondgate Within due to the burst main and while the county council had hoped that the road would be reopened by around 3pm, currently it remains closed.
There is a diversion in place via Hotspur Street and Green Batt.
Elsewhere the A697 is closed temporarily as of noon today to allow the recovery of a vehicle.
The work is expected to take up to eight hours and there will be a sign-posted diversion via the B6341 and C90.
The section of the A697 affected is Longframlington to Powburn from outside of Learchild Moor House for a length of around 600 metres.
