Tools stolen in Amble burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses after tools were stolen from a commercial address in Amble this week.

The incident took place some time between 5pm on Tuesday and 8am on Wednesday, March 29, at GW Fender & Sons at the Wellwood Street workshops.

Those responsible forced entry to a garage door at the location before stealing a Stihl saw, Makita hammerdrill, Bosch hammerdrill, black DeWalt toolbox and 10 copper cylinders.

Inquiries are ongoing into the theft and officers are appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch, in particular, anyone who may be offered similar items for sale.
