Dumpty the gnome is on the move again.

The 12-feet-tall character first appeared in a garden in Fairfields, Alnwick. Last weekend, he turned up outside Judith Francis’s home in town’s Bridge Street.

Yesterday, Dumpty was spotted in Percy Street.

Yesterday, the Gazette reported how local building Ivan Laidler owned up to being the man behind Dumpty’s adventures.

He said: “I did it just as a prank. I like to shove it in people’s gardens and we’ve got a couple more gnomes that we’re going to put in people’s gardens so watch out, you might be next.”
