Theft from car in Alnmouth sparks police plea

Police are appealing for information after a theft from a car in Alnmouth.

It happened between 9.30am and 11am on Saturday, September 12, when thieves stole two Samsung mobile phones from an insecure car parked on Riverside Road.

Inquiries into the theft are under way and anyone who may have been in the area at the time and seen or heard anything suspicious or have been offered the phones for sale is asked to contact police.

Motorists are also reminded to secure their cars and remove any valuables from display.
