A HOST of fun and fruity activities will be taking place at Alnwick Garden during the Alnwick Food Festival weekend to give youngster a chance to take part in the event.
The Garden is once again hosting the Alnwick Children’s Food Festival which is part of the main event on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25.
While art and craft events, including workshops, will also be taking place in Alnwick Market Place, more treats are in store at the attraction.
Youngsters will be able to try their hand at making fruit kebabs, mosaics from rangoli rice and vegetable pets, which they can take home.
The main Alnwick Food Festival will take place in Alnwick Market Place with stalls selling a range of locally-produced goods from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25.
On Friday, September 23, a farmers’ market will take place.
Cookery demonstrations will also be on offer in the Northumberland Hall, while street entertainers and musicians will also be visiting.
And French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli will be making a guest appearance.
