SURGERY: Parking is a nightmare

So, our two medical practices are to merge, which should prove to be cost effective.

We will all have to get used to triage via telephone, but if a face-to-face consultation is needed it will be on the same day.

To the rear of the Bondgate Surgery there is a large car park for staff and deliveries. I dare to hope that access to at least a part of this car park will become available.

Parking is a nightmare when trying to attend appointments, and coupled with patients’ visitors, it gives rise to congestion and desperation, also restricting ambulance access.

This can only get worse as more visitors are encouraged to explore the Column Field.

I can’t see any other option to alleviate the situation.
