A dispute is still ongoing over the sale of Felton’s youth club building as the parish council continues to call for information.
The disused hut, on Recreation Lane, went on the market with estate agents George F White at the end of September.
It is understood that the building has now been sold, subject to contract.
However, Felton Parish Council has been trying to get information about the sale as it owns the land that will need to be used to access the building, but has so far drawn a blank.
Clerk Lisa Hamlin wrote to Ambition, the charity selling the hut, but had no response.
At Monday’s meeting, she told councillors that she had also contacted the Charities Commission.
“But they said we have to contact the charity directly,” she said. “I said that is what we have done and asked where we go now and I haven’t had a response.
“I can’t get anywhere. But we have had no correspondence regarding access on Recreation Lane.”
The parish council was not contacted prior to the property going on the market either.
Councillors suggested contacting George F White estate agents to see if they can help with the situation.
Mrs Hamlin also told the meeting that she has drawn up plans to show which land belongs to the parish council.
The clerk is to pursue more information.
